8:00 AM: Arrival at Llacto (Starting point of the hike)
Your guide will provide a safety briefing before you start the ascent. The trail offers scenic Andean landscapes with herds of llamas and alpacas along the way. -
10:00 AM: Arrival at Rainbow Mountain (5,036 m / 16,522 ft)
Reach the viewpoint and admire the incredible natural display of colors stretching across the mountain range. Take photos, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the view of the Ausangate Glacier, the highest peak in Cusco. -
10:45 AM: Optional hike to Red Valley (recommended for adventurous travelers, extra entrance fee)
